HOW TO CREATE YOUR SPECIAL DAY
We are totally flexible and will create a day that will exceed your expectations.
But here are some suggestions for the perfect day onboard Carnival.
CHOOSING YOUR TRIP
We will meet you outside the Blue Bar in Gouvia Marina.
The Marina is 6k from Corfu town on the main Kerkyras-Palaiokastritsas road.
There is a bus stop on the main road as well as ample parking in the Marina.
Taxis of coarse know where the Marina is.
Once on board you will be offered a refreshing glass of bubbly and shown around Carnival , your private yacht for the day.
Your captain will talk you through the safety procedures and give you a tour around the boat .
ESCAPE OPTIONS
THE SCENIC NORTH EAST COASTLINE
We will leave the Marina and head up the coast past the pretty beaches and bays of Nissaki, Agni, Kalami Agios Stefano and Kassiopi.
We can stop off wherever you wish for a cooling swim off the back of the boat. Enjoy an alfresco lunch onboard or opt for a taverna of your choice (advanced booking advised in the high season).
After lunch have a relaxing sunbathe or swim.
If you're feeling more energetic you can snorkel or paddle board. We will return with a leisurely sail back to the marina arriving between 5 -6 pm.
VIDOS, CORFU TOWN AND MOUSE ISLAND
We will set off to the unspoilt island of Vidos passing the house made famous in the popular TV series The Durrells.
We will anchor off the Island where you can have your first swim of the day. The waters here are turquoise and beautifully clear.
The water is teeming with fish so great for snorkelling.
You can go ashore on the tender for a walk around the island and experience its colourful history.
We will then sail across the sweeping Garitsa bay where you can admire the many super yachts that spend the summer in Corfu.
We will sail on to Mouse Island where we will stop for a freshly prepared Meze lunch.
This spot if fantastic for watching the planes landing, they literally fly a few feet above your heads.After lunch and more swimming we will head back to the Marina passing close to the Venetian Fortresses, and Corfu Towns beautiful Villas.
GREEK MAINLAND FOR AN AUTHENTIC FISH LUNCH
Set sail to the mainland to a very special little town called Sagiada.
We can stop on the way for a refreshing swim.
(Sail time is about 3 hours)
When we arrive at Sagiada we tie up on the town quay so you can step off and walk to the tavernas.
If you love seafood this is a real treat. The prawns are to die for as are the fresh octopus and calamari.
After lunch we will head back to the marina (with one more swim on the way).
GREEK MAINLAND AND CORFU TOWN
A truly unique trip over to the Greek mainland and a bay bordering Albania.
It will take approx. 1.30 hours sailing, so relax and enjoy.
We will anchor in the secluded bay, sunbathe, swim, snorkel, paddleboard and have a relaxing lunch onboard.
After lunch, we make our way back to Gouvia Marina passing the Old Fortress, Corfu Town and the Venetian villas.
HALF DAY ESCAPES
Depart the Marina at 10 am- 2 pm for a morning Cruise or 12 pm - 4 pm for an afternoon Cruise .
As we set off you will be offered a glass of bubbly.
Wine, beer and soft drinks are included in the price as well as some delicious meze snacks.
KALAMI BAY
Leaving the marina, past the old Venetian shipyard, we will head north to Kalami bay where we anchor for approximately 1 hour.
This gives you plenty of time to swim, snorkel, paddle board and cool off in the crystal blue waters.
We will then leisurely return to the marina.
MOUSE ISLAND
Leaving the Marina we will head south passing the house made famous in The Durrells TV series.
Sailing across Garitsa bay and admiring all the Super Yachts that anchor there in the summer we will
continue on to Mouse Island .
This is a great place to swim and snorkel as the water is shallow and very clear.
Mouse Island is home to an 11th century Byzantine Church as well as being a great place for plane spotting as they land literally above your heads.
So the ancient and modern worlds meet .
Making our was back to Gouvia we will sail close to shore so you can admire the Fortresses and beautiful Venetian villas.
VIDOS ISLAND
Sail out of the marina past the famous Durrells house and then head toward Vidos island.
Vidos is a small wooded island not far off the coast of Corfu Town.
We will anchor here and you can choose to swim, snorkel or Captain John will take you on the tender to the island and you can walk around it (approx 1 hour).
There is a mausoleum dedicated to the Serbians who were quarantined on the island in WW1.
We will then make our way to the fortress and sail back close to shore to admire the Venetian villas.
